Star Wars, Star Wars Outlaws, Kay Vess, Andor, Scavenger's Reign, Sci-fi

When star wars outlaws was announced i was pretty excited, i mean an open world starwars game, comparable to GTA, with a focus on space crime? I thought this wouldve been so cool, and it is cool, but not in a GTA way, but in a character development type of way. I recently watched SkillUp’s review on this game and i think i completely agree with his takes on it, that the gameplay is in no way special, and it is rough around the edges in its design, but i fell in love with the story and its characters over the course of my playthrough. they really turn into a found family by the end, and the last few missions of the game are quite fun. i'm happy to hear that ubisoft are updating the game and are trying to improve the gameplay systems, so maybe after an update or two ill come back for another playthrough and see if its any better from a gameplay perspective.

speaking of star wars, i am eagerly awaiting the release of Andor season 2, and some of the pictures i've seen so far make me very excited, i can hardly wait! in the meantime, i'll have to watch some other things to fill the void. i just finished Scavenger's Reign, and that was one of the most unique, refreshing sci-fi shows I've watched in a while. i saw so many creatures, landscapes, and fauna that i dont think i could've ever imagined myself, and the artists behind the show managed to make such an interesting planet and characters! its such a shame that it was canceled after only one season, as is standard these days, but i suppose the ending is sufficient enough if we really do never get another season, though i wish some of the character's fates were different.

on another note, i am lazy as shit. i still have yet to come up with a design for my website, so maybe ill just start small, make a repeating image background like this blog framework has. i hope i didnt fuck up my blog template by adding the notebook aesthetic. i have a backup of the original, but like, still.
